File download from directories secured with basic auth

DuckDuckGo for Android seems to fail when downloading files secured by basic auth.

Here we provide two subdirectories with some content to browse or download. Each of them contains a pdf file, a text file and a binary (spreadsheet) file.

• The secured directory
• The unsecured directory

Use the following credentials:

My observation is that DDG fails when downloading from the secured, but not when downloading from the unsecured directory. Browsing a text file seems to be no problem, where downloading fails. DDG does not display pdf files as other browsers do.
